Ribbed cotton, garment-dyed in militare. Back panel seams — horizontal yoke and vertical center — that you would not expect on a tee at any price.

The back panel is divided by two flat seams rather than cut from a single piece. That is an unusual detail for a t-shirt and the reason the fit holds its shape differently. The MILITARE tone comes from garment-dyeing after construction — the dye settles unevenly into the ribbed surface, deeper in the channels, lighter on the peaks. Raw-edge neckline and hems with no binding or hemming. Relaxed fit, elongated drop. The cotton softens and the color deepens with each wash.
